Indian wedding is a grand affair which is filled with ritual and customs that continue for the days. Most of the customs are common among Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs and Jains. The customs and rituals are combination of local, religions and family traditions. Wedding traditions differ across religion, caste, ethnicity, language, region, etc. These traditions are generally categorized into pre-wedding ceremonies and wedding day ceremonies (includes baraat, varmala, phere and vidai).
